As the majority holder of Overhead Door Company of Greensboro, Christy Garnett is proud to be recognized as the owner of a women-owned business. A graduate of UNC-Greensboro with an accounting degree, Christy worked in the banking industry, to which she attributes her business acumen.
Well-versed in multiple disciplines and a person with many interests, Christy is recognized by her employees, friends, and family as generous, giving, and supportive. Her resilient and faith-filled life is the quintessence of how to serve others.
When Christy Garnett isn’t running a multimillion-dollar business or hanging out with her daughter Samantha, she can probably be found golfing or enjoying CrossFit, walking, softball, beach volleyball, reading, spending time with friends, and occasionally singing karaoke.
