Carolyn McManamy graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor’s Degree in political science with a minor in economics. An accomplished professional, her experience includes marketing and business management for law firms and an IT consulting company. A former Chamber of Commerce president for 15 years, Carolyn presently works with the Davie County, North Carolina Economic Development Corporation.
She has worked in diverse settings and is no stranger to boards, currently serving on Ignite Davie College Promise as a founding partner, Community College of Davidson and Davie Foundation, RiverPark at Cooleemee Falls and Piedmont Triad Workforce Development.
Carolyn’s inspiration is making a difference, giving back, and getting things done. Her involvement in nonprofit organizations has given her a greater awareness of how communities prosper. For fun, she loves to hike, bike, run and read.
